Casey Rivers - Wednesday Night Songwriters

Casey describes herself as a sensitive river girlie, country-folk musician, and storyteller. She grew up in Illinois, and has found a home in Westerly, RI. She's recorded two songs, "You'll Be Okay" and "Casey's Song" and is currently working on a full album inspired by her obsession with water, love and the little qualms of life. Her old time and effortless vocals captivate audiences, tackling heartbreak, loss, and nostalgia through tone and clarity. If you like spending days on the water and deep feelings, stop by for a listen.

Rivers is returning to Perks and Corks and has played in venues such as The Knickerbocker Tap Room, High Hope Tavern, and the Pump House Music Works in Rhode Island. She and her partner, Shane Patrick, recently opened for Will Evans at the Snow Moon Festival, featuring artists including Hayley Jane and Ryan Montbleau.
